Inspired by the lines of the horizon over the ocean, and the colors of the sand, sea and sky, Roxanne of Persnickety Events and Fave photographer Nami Dadlani conceived of and created this design for a luxurious beach wedding on the shores of Key Biscyane. With the additional talents of Faves Anthology Co. and Earth and Sugar, how could it not be amazing!?
With the colors of the coast as her guide, Roxanne concentrated on a palette of creams, blues and subtle hints of pink. Leen Machine Calligraphy & Design's paper suite brought the inspiration to the forefront, with a watercolor design in oceany shades of blue, while Anthology Co. kept the floral arrangements subtle and natural with grasses, silver dollar and protea.
From Roxanne: When it came to styling and decorative elements, I kept the table elegant and timeless yet natural and of the earth by selecting neutral colored linens, classic flatware/dinnerware/stemware and natural colored chairs. Nami focused on capturing the harmony and balance of all the design elements.
Janderyn of Earth and Sugar designed a five tier cake that incorporated layers of ocean blue and a layer of cream, but the addition of a beautiful silver leafed tier that mimicked the sea's shimmery, mirror-like surface really took the design over the edge.
Hiara of Makeup Artistry by Hiara went subdued, dewy and wind-swept with the bride's hair and makeup, for a look that was effortlessly chic. And the Monique Lhullier gown from Chic Parisien with the groom's oh-so-stylish Lanvin ensemble? Perfection.
