Rebecca of Luna Bella Photography was thrilled to be booked by her childhood friend for an engagement session. Two weeks later, she was part of the very happy surprise - it would be an Elopement session instead!
Tiffany and Christian met as pre-veterinary students at UF. They were friends for a few years before their first date, but once they did... they "just knew."
Tiffany had that dream wedding in her thoughts like so many other brides, but after realizing how long it would take them to save up, the two decided to elope. They let their families know, hopped on a plane, met them in Vegas and had an intimate ceremony at Aria to tie the knot!
When they got back from Vegas, it was finally time for that engagement-turned-elopement session! Rebecca had "a million ideas!" and they'd planned a day at Paynes Prairie, but the fog was so thick that it just wouldn't work. Instead they changed their location to a beautiful wooded area of the UF campus; says Rebecca, "The leaves were perfect, the weather was outstanding, and Tiffany & Christian were absolutely stunning."
The beautiful bride shared their sweet engagement story with us: Christian and I decided to spend St. Patty's Day weekend at the Camachee Inn in St. Augustine for a much needed get-a-way and to celebrate our 27 month (ha!) anniversary a little early, it's on the 27th. Get it, our 27th anniversary on the 27th. :) We started off the first day with a trip to Vilano Beach. After the beach, Christian surprised me with an hour long couple's massage (my first massage ever) in our room! We had our favorite country playlist going, with the sliding glass doors overlooking the marina wide open allowing us to also enjoy the absolutely perfect weather and surprisingly cool breeze.
After the (amazing!) massages, Christian gave me a book that he made, titled What I Love About You. It was filled with ridiculously sweet and romantic things about our relationship, along with many laugh out loud stories and comments. He then pulled out a bottle of champagne "to celebrate our anniversary" and asked me to grab the ice bucket from the other side of the room. When I turned to get the bucket, he said "But there's one more thing". I turned to see what he meant and he was holding the ring box! The rest was history, including him dropping the ring on the floor (after I said/practically yelled YEEESS!!!) because he was shaking so much!"
Congratulations, Tiffany and Christian... and (of course) Go Gators!!
