Friday Fresh Squeeze: Across the Pond

on by in Updates & Roundups

2013! Happy NEW YEAR! I hope everybody decked themselves out in sequins and enjoyed some bubbly to ring in the amazing year ahead. Desiree celebrated the new year in Sunny Florida {yes, I'm missing the weather!}, Laura is putting in a little traveling time all over the map from Savannah to Panama! I have been enjoying my new city, London, before I head to work on Monday and... start planning our wedding! Yes, planning here we come. I'm looking forward to catching up on so many links this weekend to be inspired for a sparkly, glittery, fun filled wedding ahead for me and my Beau! Happy Weekend!

Ok, I have a confession to make, I'm obsessed with this wedding above! When I saw this picture on Marianne's blog, I thought, "Hmmmm, can me and my fiance jump in the picture and have our wedding be this one, duplicated?". The balloons, rooms filled with giraffes and is so amazing and whimsical that I just cannot stop looking at it!

I really enjoyed seeing our year in review all together, it made me so excited to see the wonderful moments we shared with you! I also loved reading some of our vendors from around the states as well: Kat Braman, Vitalic Photo, Erika Delgado, and Elaine Pallandino.

I came upon this quick wedding paper timeline and thought it was quite a good thing to have nearby for the bride to be!

Did you get engaged over the holidays? If so, I think this post is a fabulous place to start with your planning.

A few wonderful vendors got together on the West Coast of Florida and planned a glitzy, emerald green themed engagement dinner and I happen to LOVE IT! It makes me dream, "Can I fly back to Florida for a glitzy beach engagement dinner???"

I have fallen a bit in love with Polly's work. If we do decide to get married here across the pond, the photographer decision is not going to be easy! Check out this beautiful wedding she captured in England, sigh.

Ok, since I went on about how much I am in love with the wedding image above, I had to share more! This wedding venue looks like a place out of one of Jane Austen's novels, minus the balloons and the giraffes. The gorgeous historical home with the sprawling English lawn, it makes me smile and write it down on our list of wedding possibilities. I pretty much love it all: the guests in hats, the VW van serving ice cream, the balloons, the amazing dessert table with zebras in the room, doesn't it make you happy!

What a celebration! Isn't it the perfect happy magical wedding to start off the new year! Happy New Year everyone! Happy Weekend! Happy Wedding Planning! xoxo~ Becca
