"I am so excited to be a part of the blog! Your post with Leslie at the Pensacola Country Club made me fall in love with the area before I even moved here!" Yeah, let's just say we love it when brides get it! Allison and Neil moved to his hometown to start a pediatric dental practice and their lives together. They embrace all the Gulf Coast has to offer and its reflected in this amazing e-sesh. Enjoy, y'all!
The two adore how beautiful their new home is, so they decided to use their own neighborhood for their portraits. "We love spending time on the boat with our dog and thought it would be the perfect location for our pictures. We started out at Lost Key Marina which is right across the street from our house, then took a short boat ride across the intercoastal to a small island."
“We spend a lot of time fishing and boating with Ginger. Life doesn't get much better than that. ”
When we first started dating our favorite thing to do was to bring Ginger to the dog park near our house. We always thought of it as "our spot". I lost my mom suddenly to cancer in 2013. It was the hardest thing to experience but Neil was there through it all. On Mothers Day, we brought Ginger to the park to play. We were the only two people in there and he surprised me and proposed. It was so perfect and special to us.
All of my family is from either North Carolina or the Northeast, so it will be a whole new experience when they come to Pensacola. Our venues are located in the heart of Pensacola and we plan on embracing our local Gulf Coast culture wherever we can. We are so excited that our wedding is also near Mardi Gras. We are hoping to incorporate it in music, beads, feathers, drinks and food. The vendors in Pensacola have been amazing to us and made this process so easy!
We cannot wait to see photos from this festive wedding. Congrats and have fun planning!
