There is something so warm, charming and authentic about the moments captured by Autumn of Hello Miss Lovely. Natalie and Blaine's sweet wedding day just north of Panama City, along with their vintage/rustic style, were the perfect subjects for the gorgeous images we're so happy to share with you today. Enjoy!
Natalie and Blaine met at her best friend's wedding; the twist is that it was a set-up by their friends all along. Each was told that the other had been eyeing them the whole night (just a little well-intended white lie!), so Natalie went over and struck up a conversation with Blaine; they ended up dancing and talking the rest of the night. They kept a friendship going over the years, but never thought it would become more due to their distance from each other. But happily, they finally took a chance on love... and the rest is history!
Natalie tells that she loves Blaine's sense of humor, his love of friends and family and his overall enjoyment of life. As a couple, they love spending the weekends riding in his Jeep and working on their home together.
This was Natalie's favorite moment, as the church doors opened and she began walking down the aisle. Says the bride, "I saw Blaine standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me. The day I had been planning and waiting for had finally arrived. I was marrying my best friend and a great guy. It was well worth the wait."
Natalie wanted a vintage, rustic feel for their wedding and put hours and hours of effort into finding all the pieces they used throughout the day: Every piece of my decor meant something to me. Some items had sentimental value that were from my parents' or my grandparents' home or had a story of how I obtained them. Others were things I picked up on my shopping adventures or were found at yard sales by my brother and sister in law.
Natalie's father is disabled, but was still able to join in the fesitivites via Skype. I love how this sweet moment was captured, and how important it was to Natalie: I am an only child and it was hard to imagine such a big day in my life and him not being there; this was the second best thing to having him there.
Natalie shared advice that we've heard (and lived through!) so many times: My advice for other brides is to enjoy the day. The day goes by so fast and at times is very hectic and that was something I was not expecting. I would not change anything on my wedding day except the allowing more time to visit with guests. We did not have time to visit with everyone like we had wanted to.
It all goes by so quickly... in love, in life and especially on your wedding day. Thanks, Natalie, for the reminder to hold on tight, and our warmest congratulations to you both!
