We have more great inspiration in store for you today as part of our Winter Wedding Tabletop Challenge! This week, we'll be showing you how each of our challenge bloggers turned their inspiration boards into gorgeous, winter and holiday inspired tablescapes.
Now showing: a 'Rosy & Romantic' tabletop designed by our Rebecca (who has her own amazing blog, Urban Flip Flops)!
Take a look again at Rebecca's inspiration (see the original post for sources and the details).
And the gorgeous pink, silver and gold tabletop that Rebecca created:
Rebecca: "I wanted to go with shades of gold and pink since I absolutely love the mix of rose gold metallic pieces added in during the holidays. I thought that adding in silver and gold shades to pink would be a perfect romantic table that I could see I couple using for an engagement party or a winter wedding. Once I saw these pink mercury glass vases from Jamali Gardens, I knew I wanted to focus the table around them. Once I saw that Peonies are available in Florida during the winter, I knew it would be a perfect table for me."
"I made sugar cookies with pink metallic icing that I would have liked to have written a guests name on it. That would be my suggestion in a gold font in addition to the place cards. My hand writing wasn't the best so I added into a pink dessert glass that I picked up at an antique store over Thanksgiving in Virginia. I always love to mix the place settings so I set alternating gold and silver chargers with snowflake holiday plates from Target and added the silver rimmed pink plate from West Elm. "
" I found these adorable white holiday gift tags on Etsy that I spray painted pink and left a white band so you could see the holiday words such as: Merry, Cheers, XOXO, which I felt was perfect for a wedding! I tied a tag along with a silver ornament around a champagne glass. I like the idea of adding small touches to the glasses and the table without being over the top."
Another gorgeous creation, am I right? I adore all those romantic, frilly peonies in various shades of pink... and the vintage-feeling vases really bring it all together. I love what the rosy hues do to really bring out the holiday feel!
